Emily B. Fathauer and Ryan Stephen Cour were married at 2 p.m. October 20, 2007, at Christ the King Church in Springfield, Illinois, by Monsignor David Lantz.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Jyl Fathauer of Shelbyville and the granddaughter of William and Gladys Dunaway of Shelbyville and the late Melvin and Ava Fathauer, also of Shelbyville. The groom is the son of Stephen and Kathy Cour of Springfield, Illinois.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Shelbyville High School, a 2002 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and a 2005 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. She is an attorney with the law firm of Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen and Cochran, Ltd. in Springfield, Illinois. The groom is a 1999 graduate of Sacred Heart Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois and a 2004 graduate of the University of Illinois-Springfield. He is a personal banker with Town & Country Bank in Springfield, Illinois.
The couple resides in Springfield, Illinois.
