Thompson to Celebrate 90th Birthday

— An open house and card shower are planned to honor Helen Thompson of Windsor who is celebrating her 90th birthday.
The open house will be from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, in the Chapel at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home, 201 Lafayette Ave. E, Mattoon.
The family requests no gifts, however cards and special memories would be welcome.
Mrs. Thompson is the mother of five children: Joyce (Joe) French and Carole (Mike) Burke of Mattoon; Jim (Connie) Thompson of Charleston; Gary (Vickie) Thompson and Jerry (Marla Brown) Thompson of Windsor.
She has 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She is a retired school teacher.
