Mary Thompson to Celebrate 100th Birthday

— Mary Thompson of Shelbyville will celebrate her 100th birthday on Wednesday, July 23.
Mrs. Thompson and her husband Burl Thompson (deceased) have six children: Marge Blancett (Decatur), Arnold Thompson (Tulsa, Arizona), Janet Moran (Omaha, Nebraska), Sonja McKenzie (Valdosta, Georgia), Jacqueline Chaney (Findlay), and Jackie Thompson (deceased). She has 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and one great-great-great grandson.
She served for many years as a Deaconess of the Shelbyville Christian Church.
