Sherry Wright and Thomas Loar, both of Pana, were united in marriage on July 11, 2009, at the Best Wedding Chapel in Shelbyville.

The bride is the daughter of Jordan and Virginia Wright of LeRoy. She is a graduate of LeRoy High School and Parkland College. She is a clerk at Walgreens in Pana.

The groom is the son of Oliver and Johanne Loar of Pana. He is a graduate of Blue Island High School and is currently employed with Sloan Implement Company in Shelbyville.

The bride was given away by her oldest son Justin Hardy of Mansfield. Laurie Johnston of Farmer City attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Ann Jones of Mitchell IN, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Ashley Elizabeth Baker of Farmer City, niece of the bride.

The groom was attended by Franklin Petrosius of Alsip as best man and Daniel Loar of Pana, brother of the groom, as groomsman.

Ushers were Joshua Hannah of Greenup, son of the bride, and Trent Johnston of Farmer City, nephew of the bride. Ringbearer was Ren Alexander Johnston of Farmer City, nephew of the bride.Amanda Kelley of Farmer City, niece of the bride, attended the guestbook.

The bride wore a champaign satin dress with deading and pearls on the torso and a three-foot cathedral train with beading and pearls around the bottom edge.

Sheila Montgomery, sister of the bride, played “Wind Beneath My Wings”, “The Wedding Song”, and “Footprints in the Sand.”

The reception was held at Kitchell Park in Pana. Pam Cross of LeRoy and Sheila Montgomery of Tazwell IN, both sisters of the bride; Ashley Hannah of Greenup, daughter-in-law of the bride; and Susie and Bridgette Petrosius of Alsip, friends of the bride and groom, were servers.

The couple is at home at Pana Lake, Pana.
