Volunteer firemen honored at the Strasburg Hog Roast

---- — Several Strasburg Volunteer Firemen were recently honored at the Strasburg Hog Roast/Gnome Fest. Board Trustee John Beldon commended the group for giving of their time and effort to respond to a fire call.

All received a certificate for their years of loyal and dedicated service. Those who served more than 10 years on the department were also presented with “Years of Service” pins. Receiving pins were Donnie Wallace, 45 years plus, Charlie Culver, 40 years, Larry Giertz, 35 years, Bob Neathery, 35 years, Brad Friese, 30 years plus, Jane Giertz, 25 years, John Jeisy 30 years, Brad Mathis, 25 years, Tom Newell, 25 years plus, Rick Wallace, 25 years plus, Kevin Mathis, 10 years plus and Twila Faletic, 10 years. New members included Barry Wittenberg, Darrin Storm and Nick Esslinger.
