Shelbyville Daily Union

---- — David and Vicki Freemon of Shelbyville will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on August 3, 2013 with an Open House Reception at Spruce Street Studios (213 N. Spruce) in Shelbyville from 2-5 p.m. to congratulate the couple. Well wishes only, no gifts please. Refreshments will be served.

David and Vicki (Jones) are both graduates of Windsor High School. They were married on August 20, 1963 in the Windsor Christian Church. They started their life together in Decatur, IL, after attending Decatur Barber College and Decatur Beauty School, respectively.

In 1968 they moved to Shelbyville to raise their two children, Mike (Kim) Freemon of Champaign, IL, and Stephanie (Steve) Domalewski of Wentzville, MO. They are proud grandparents of six and have extended family that they enjoy spending time with.

Vicki quit the hair business a few years ago and worked a few other jobs but has since retired. David retired from the barber business this past March after 45 years at the same location across from Forest Park. Currently you are most likely to see them at the golf course where David got his first hole in one on July 12. The couple continues to reside in Shelbyville. They look forward to celebrating with their family and friends on Aug. 3.
