---- — Emily Anne Miller and Ethan Michael Simmons were united in marriage on may 11, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Moweaqua.
The bride is the daughter of Anthony Miller of Pana and Michael and Jennifer Thompson of Moweaqua. The groom is the son of Michael and Dotty Simmons of Moweaqua.
The ceremony was officiated by Gary Simmons. A reception followed at the Blue Mound Civic Center.
Maids of honor were Jessie Morrell of Moweaqua, friend of the bride, and Victoria Otloe of Pana, aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Tolly of Moweaqua, sister of the groom, and Ericka Bumgardner of Pana, friend of the bride. Best man was Eli Simmons of Moweaqua, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Blake Miller of Pana, brother of the bride, Jordan Tolly of Moweaqua, brother-in-law of the groom, and Kyle Miller of Pana, brother of the bride. Ushers were Tim Bridgman, Conner Bridgman, Dillan Sirbaugh, and Caleb Will, all friends of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Lindy Perryman and Katie Reed, friends of the bride.
The new Mrs. Simmons is a 2011 graduate of Central A&M High School and is currently attending Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. She plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by the Stadium Grill in Mattoon. Ethan is a 2010 graduate of Central A&M High School and is attending Eastern Illinois University. He plans to earn a doctorate degree in physical therapy. He is employed by Family Video in Charleston.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Phoenix, AZ. They now reside in Charleston.
