Popes to Celebrate 25th Anniversary Melvin and Sandy (Gordon) Pope of Beecher City will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on September 21 with an open house from 2 - 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Cowden. They have two children: Whitney (Jimmy) Allen of Cowden and Jeremy Pope at home. They also have one granddaughter Jaylyn. The couple requests no gifts.
