Megan Zindel is the daughter of Brian and Michelle Zindel of Moweaqua, IL. She is a junior at Central A&M High School. Megan’s SAE is Specialty Crop Production Entrepreneurship which is on her 1/3 acre of popcorn that she grows and sells. Through her record books, she has started her Meg-A-Pop Popcorn business which has done really well. Megan is currently serving at the Central A&M FFA Secretary and is a very active member of the Central A&M FFA Chapter. Megan has participated in Soil Judging, Food Science CDE, Proficiency Judging and Job Interview CDE as well as helped with a tremendous amount of other FFA and community service activities. Megan’s plans after high school are to attend college and major in accounting.
These members will officially receive their State FFA Degree at a formal ceremony during the 86th Illinois State FFA Convention to be held in June at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield. The Central A&M FFA is very proud of these young ladies for receiving their State FFA Degrees.
