On March 13, Central A&M FFA members Kaitlyn Corzine, Tyler Adcock, Kelsey Burgener and Lisa Parker traveled to Mattoon High School in Mattoon, Illinois to compete in District IV Record Book Judging.
To get to this contest, each member put many long hours into their record book and had to compete and place first at the Section 16 Record Book Judging, which was held in February.
At the district competition, Kaitlyn Corzine placed 1st in Vegetable Production Entrepreneurship, Kelsey Burgener placed 1st in Swine Production Placement and Tyler Adcock placed 1st in Diversified Ag Production Entrepreneurship. Lisa Parker placed 2nd in Equine Entrepreneurship. Kaitlyn, Kelsey and Tyler will advance on to the state competition on Saturday, April 6, in Champaign, at the University of Illinois campus.
