Central A&M FFA helps with 
the Raiders for a Cure

---- — On Friday, September 13, the Central A&M FFA Chapter carried the American Flag during the high school football pregame show. Lisa Parker, Rebekah Nash, Matthew Hardeman, Shelby Sloan, Del Adcock, Mo Hunter, Madison Getz, Megan Zindel, Dean Adcock,Salena Sloan, Michelle Burrus, Maddie Cooper, Emmie Etherton, Alli Kresin, Lauren Burgener, Abby Forlines, Connor Mitchell, Scott Myers, Kyle Taylor, Kayleigh Postin, Bradi Branyan, Mikaela Cole, Morgan Damery, and Kylie Miller. carried the flag along with local military and first responders.

On Saturday, September 14, the Central A&M FFA Chapter participated in the 5th Annual Raiders for the Cure Bike Ride. The chapter helped out by serving a meal for the riders after they had completed the ride. We served hot dogs, chips, water, and popsicles to the participants. A big thanks to Big Al for cooking the hot dogs. The members who helped were Lisa Parker, Matthew Hardeman, Maddie Cooper, Abby Forlines, Michelle Burrus, Brock Burgener, and Rebekah Nash.

Also, the chapter entered two raffle baskets: “Fishing for a Cure” and “Fishing for a Cure: Junior Edition.” Tickets are 1 for a dollar or 6 for $5. Along with the baskets, the chapter entered a garden seat/table bench made by Central A&M FFA members Del Adcock, Megan Zindel, Mo Hunter and Michelle Burrus This can be a three seater bench or the middle seats folds up into a table. Tickets are $5/ticket and can be purchased at the Sept. 24 home volleyball game or the Oct. 4 & 11 home football games or you can ask any FFA member, stop by the high school office, or send us a message and we can work something out. All proceeds go to Central A&M Raiders for a Cure donation towards breast cancer awareness.
