Shelby County 4-H held a Sewing Workshop on June 23, 2014 at Main Street Quilt Company. Four 4-H members learned sewing basics such as measuring fabric, cutting out a pattern and learning how to operate a sewing machine. The finished product was a tote bag which may be exhibited as their Sewing Textiles I project. Kate Laskowski, owner of Main Street Quilt Company was the instructor for the class. Thanks Kate for supporting Shelby County 4-H.
Sewing and Textiles exhibits can be seen during the Shelby County 4-H & Jr. Fair which starts on July 14 and runs through July 16.
