Shelby County 4-H held a Scrapbooking Crop on June 23, 2014 at the Shelby County Extension Office. Members brought their pictures, papers and embellishments and scrapbooking tools such as paper cutters, punches, stamps and a die cutting machine were provided by Yolanda Nation, Debora Fogleman and Dianna Furr. Scrapbooking is a new state 4-H project this year. The project is divided into beginners, intermediates and advanced level exhibitors. Some basic requirements for the project is preparing 4 pages (front and back) which is a total of 8 decorated pages. Members use embellishments to decorate their pages and the pages should tell a story.
Thanks to Debora and Dianna for their help.
Judging for 4-H scrapbooking will be held on July 15 at 1:00 at the Shelby County 4-H & Jr. Fair. Come out to the fair and see all the great exhibits.
