Lake Land College recently recognized and honored students in the Trio Student Support Services program at its annual Spring Recognition Banquet.
At the banquet, Trio students who are graduating this spring were honored in addition to Trio students with outstanding cumulative and semester GPAs. Trio student ambassadors were also recognized.
Under the direction of Marko Mohlenhoff, Trio Student Support Services is a federally funded outreach program at the college that serves and assists low-income individuals, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline.
Area students who graduated this spring and/or will graduate after the summer semester who participated in the Trio program include:

“We’re very proud of all of our students in the Trio program,” said Mohlenhoff. “I would also like to acknowledge the Trio staff and tutors who help make the program so successful at Lake Land.”
Trio staff includes: Victoria Zeter, advising counselor; Bill Jackson, learning skills specialist; and Belinda Dotson, administrative assistant.
