---- — Elizabeth Nohren of Dove & Dove, Attorneys at Law, presented the $1,000.00 scholarship to Karli Robinson in memory of her father, E.C. Eberspacher on May 16, 2013, which was announced at the Shelbyville High School Senior Awards Night.
Karli Robinson of Shelbyville, Illinois, is the daughter of Bill and Ronda Robinson and attends the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a degree in Animal Sciences - Veterinary Medicine. Her degree requires her to complete the class of Undergraduate Experiential Learning, where she may earn credit hours for independent study by participating in a trip to South Africa this summer. Studying in South Africa will provide her with experience working with African wildlife and observing the behaviors of animals, like lions and elephants, in their natural habitats, including witnessing first-hand the efforts being made to prevent rhinoceros extinction.
She will be a sophomore at the U of I this fall of 2013, and is a member of various University organizations including Pi Beta Phi fraternity, the Pre-Veterinary Club, Collegiate Farm Bureau, Campus Honors Program and Illinoi Pride. Karli was valedictorian at Shelbyville High School when she graduated in 2012.
The annual E.C. Eberspacher Memorial Scholarship was established by Dove & Dove, Attorneys at Law, in memory of its member Chris Eberspacher, who passed away in February of 2012. The scholarship will be awarded every year to a high school graduating senior, current college student, or graduate student, who wants to study abroad or pursue the study of law.
