Emergency-rescue workers used an excavator Sunday monring to pull one of three cars from a waste-water lagoon on the east side of Picher. The tornado across the south side of Picher, wiping out almost every home in the Mineral Heights subdivision. Workers recovered one body from a tree and another from a bank at the lagoon.
