In addition to being among the all-time quarterback leaders in Wesleyan history, Ladd is now going global.

Kraig Ladd graduated from an IHSA Final Four appearance in football and a super-sectional appearance in prep baseball for the Shelbyville Rams to be the starting quarterback for the Illinois Wesleyan University Titans and the leading hitter for the D-III ranked Titan baseball team. In addition to being among the all-time quarterback leaders in Wesleyan history, Ladd is now going global.

Ladd and the Illinois Wesleyan football team, in conjunction with Global Football, Inc. will be participating in a cultural exchange trip to Europe. In addition to a cultural exchange trip to the Czech Republic, June 1-10, the Titans will play the Vienna Vikings in Vienna, Austria. Global Football brings international players to the United States and also sends United States teams abroad to tour competitively.

Kraig Ladd continues to move up the ranks of IWU career passing leaders. He is currently No. 3 all-time in career percentage (.575, 347 of 603), No. 5 in career compilations (347), No. 8 in career yards (3,971) and No. 7 with 36 TD passes. He is No. 5 with 603 career attempts. His 21 TD passes in 2008-09 is the 6th best in an IWU campaign. His career passing TD total (39) is 7th all-time in school history.

Ladd completed six TD passes in the 48-34 win over Alma on Sept. 13. Ladd completed 17 of 26 passes for 272 yards in tying the TD passing efforts by Lon Erickson (North Park 1995) and Brad Forsyth (Carroll 1989) with the most TD passes in a game. His percentage mark for 2008 of .597 (179-of-300) is the 4th best in school history.

His 24 TDs in 2008 is also 4th all-time for a season.

In his sophomore year, Ladd passed for 1869 yards and 15 TDs, including a 5 TD, 404 yard game against Carthage, a yardage mark that was 3rd all-time at IWU. His total yardage for that game (456) is second all-time. His percentage for that game was .730, 3rd all-time for a game. In passing yards for a season, Ladd is currently No. 9 (2108 in 2008) and No. 14 (1869 in 2007).

Ladd total offense for a season is 11th all-time (1986 yards)
