The Silver Spurs 4-H Club held their second show on June 28th to wrap up their 2-show series and to name the high point and reserve high point award winners in two divisions. With a break in the weather bringing the 80's and a breeze, the show had quite the turn out with some classes having 12 + entries.

Great job to the winners of the high point and reserve high point awards and to all the other exhibitors that showed. Both judges said that the quality of horses at the show was very good and they enjoyed working with the exhibitors.

Several donations were collected by various 4-H members that help the show cover expenses and a big thank you goes out to their generosity: Angela Shearer (Assumption), Charles Lane (Shelbyville), D&S Farm Greenhouse & Nursery (Moweaqua), Paul & Virgina Lowes (Perryville, MO), Second Street Power (Shelbyville), Todd & Carolyn Stogsdill (Troy, MO), Todd & Terri Horsman(Shelbyville), Unique Tire & Auto World (Shelbyville), Virgina Lowes (Perryville, MO), Barker Implement (Shelbyville), Shelby Electric Coop (Shelbyville).

Thank you to Corri Boehm for announcing both shows as well as Sandy Thomas, Pam Uphoff and Yolanda Nation for running the show, taking entries and helping in the concession stand.
