No Late Winter Antlerless Gun Deer Season At Lake Shelbyville

Shelbyville Daily Union

---- — No late winter antlerless gun deer season

Lake Shelbyville - Every year Rangers field many calls asking about the late winter antlerless only season on Lake Shelbyville. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville would like to remind all deer hunters that the Lake Shelbyville project does NOT participate in any late winter antlerless only gun seasons. Archery deer hunting is the only legal method for hunting deer on Lake Shelbyville until seasons end on January 19, 2014.

Archery hunters are reminded that they MUST meet blaze orange requirements on the Shelby County portion of the lake project during January 17- 19 even though the late-winter antlerless gun season is not in effect on Lake Shelbyville.
