Attend classes at Decatur Genealogical Society Thursday, March 27, April 3, April 10, April 17 at 1255 West South Side Drive in the Decatur Genealogical Library, Decatur. Class are from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Registration is not required but helpful for material preparation. Experienced instructor is Gail Leonard of Decatur. Each class will cover a specific subject: March 27 - Getting Started; April 3 – Local & County Records; April10 – State & Federal Records; April 17 – Computer & Internet. The cost will be $25.00 for all sessions.

Gail is the past president and has held several offices and on many committees for several years in Decatur Genealogical Society. She is also the Education Chairman. She has been actively researching her families for the past thirteen years. Gail was a sergeant in the U.S. Army for ten years, a paralegal for almost twenty years, having graduated from Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a Decatur native, spending her youth here. After working in her chosen and interesting careers, she returned to Decatur ten years ago.
