Pirates invade Shelbyville High School

The Shelbyville High School drama club will present “The Fearless Pirate Frank” Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16, at the school.

The story focuses on the star of a popular pirate play, “The Fearsome Pirate Frank”, is the teenage heartthrob of every girl in Shakespearean England, even though he can’t remember his lines. However, the actor playing Frank and his supporting cast, including prima dona Esmerelda, get kidnapped by real pirates during one of their productions and become servants on a real pirate ship under the command of the real pirate Frank, who happens to be a woman. Sword fights and slap stick ensue.

Cast includes: Hannah Apple, Alason Lenz, Beth Raymond, Kelsey White, Jessie Denning, Mikayla Fultz, Carissa Jennings, Anne Jesgarz, Morgan Matlock, Hannah Shuff, Caitlyn Atwood, Brock Hammond, Jordan Helton, David Lenz, Ray Niemerg, Haley Adams, Levi Call, Mary Katherine Carswell, Katherine Honigman, Katelyn Johnson, Kelsey Toland, and Mick Porter.

Tickets are $5 and are available at the High School office or at the door. Show time is at 7 p.m.
