Farmers' market begins

---- — The Findlay Farmers’ Market is set to open its season on Saturday, June 29, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. The market will be located on the south lawn of the Olde Country Church, 108 N. Main St. in Findlay, and will be held every Saturday through Labor Day weekend. A variety of vendors will be offering an array of fresh, local produce, homemade crafts, candy, baked goods and more. To kick off the season, Decatur’s Scovill Mobile Zoo will be present on the opening day. The zoo will be located next door to the farmers’ market at the Findlay Park Pavilion between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Long-time zoo volunteer Sue Turnage will be there to tell about the animals. Come by with the kids to see, touch, and learn about an assortment of interesting critters.
