---- — Okaw Valley volleyball (3-7) is gaining traction after an 0-5 start. They took another step on Monday, winning their second straight home match, eating Edinburg alive, 25-17, 25-14.
Shelby Dash and Megan Dash, reigning co-Athletes of the Week, didn't have to repeat their standout performances from last week for the T'Wolves to take out Edinburg.
Megan Dash still strutted her stuff in net defense rising up for five blocks in the too-quick, 2-game set. Dash was joined by two other mates with a team-high three kills: Abby Vander Burgh and Hayley Carlson.
Shelby Dash led the mid-court defense with six of the 15 digs that were shared by eight players. Fellow senior Mollee Decesaro dished 10 assists and also had two blocks. Amy Monroe led Okaw at the line with four of their team's seven aces.
