Kemmerer Village hosts 3v3 basketball tourney for Children's Hospital

---- — Kemmerer Village in Assumption will be holding a 3 v 3 basketball tournament to raise money for the Children’s Hospital in Springfield on July 27.

All tournament forms are due by July 17.

The tournament is open to all junior high and high school students. Seniors who just graduated are also permitted to play in the tournament. Those 16 years and up will play in the older division and those 15 years and younger will play in the younger division. Boys and girls will play in their own divisions. If you have a 16 year old on your team this will automatically place you in the older division.

The entry cost is $10.00 per player. Each team must have a minimum of 3 players and no more than 5 players. There will also be a 3 point contest. T-Shirts will be on sale for $12.00 for those who were not part of the first ten teams to enter. There will also be a concession available for snacks and drinks and free giveaways throughout the day.

Forms may be picked up at Kemmerer Village at the administration desk or any local bank, Caseys gas station, grocery store, and YMCA in the following communities: Moweaqua, Stonington, Assumption, Taylorville, Pana, and Shelbyville.
