Lake Shelbyville - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville has a number of activities going on during the 4th of July week! All are welcome to join in the festivities.

Please make your visit to any recreation area a safe and enjoyable one during this busy holiday weekend. Taking water safety precautions saves lives - maybe yours or someone you love.

The Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Due to the fireworks show on the 4th of July, the visitor center will offer extended hours of 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For additional information, contact the Lake Shelbyville Project Office at (217) 774-3951.
