Okaw Valley FFA Banquet March 14

The Okaw Valley FFA Chapter will be holding their Annual Pork Chop Dinner, Awards Banquet, and Labor Auction on Thursday, March 14, at 6:00 p.m. in the Okaw Valley High School Gymnasium.

Dinner will include a choice of one or two pork butterflies, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, applesauce, dinner roll, dessert, and a drink. Ticket costs are $8.50 for one pork butterfly or $10.50 for two pork butterflies. Tickets can be purchased from Okaw Valley FFA members or Okaw Valley High School. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on March 14.

The awards banquet will honor Okaw Valley FFA members for their work during the past year, along with several guest speakers. Awards will include the Blue & Gold Award, Paul Bill Cruitt Memorial Award, and the Star Greenhand Award.

Following the awards banquet will be the labor auction. During the labor auction, each Okaw Valley High School FFA member will be auctioned off to do 4 hours of labor. In the past members have done such work as bailing hay, cleaning sheds, and babysitting.
