Trick-or-Treat so people can eat!

---- — Friday October 25, 2013 is the 3rd annual Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods. Last year we had 178 students sign up to help. That’s nearly half the student body at Moulton! We filled the whole basement of the Methodist Church last year with canned goods and other nonperishable food items and we need your help to do it again!

How it Works:

Mouton Middle School Students will be split up into teams of 4 or 5. They will be given a section of the town, in which they will knock on doors, between 4:30 and 6:30p.m just like treat-or-treating. Except instead of candy, they will be asking for canned goods or other nonperishable food items. If you are not going to be home, but you still would like to donate, just leave the items outside your front door with a note specifying that they’re for the food drive.

Who it Helps:

After the cans are collected they are taken to the First United Methodist Church and the CEFS food pantries. All the donated items stay here in our community. They help our friends, neighbors, coworkers and other people from our community we interact with on a day to day basis.

Thank You:

Moulton Middle School would like to thanks to you, the community, for playing such a vital role in past fundraisers though your generous contributions. This is our chance to give back and help you, the community.
