---- — The first-ever Shelbyville Lady Ram doubles team to punch their ticket to the IHSA State Tennis Tournament, wrapped up their season on Thursday with a pair of losses. All school splay in the same tourney regardless of size.
Mykennah Allen and Alexis Halbrook never played doubles before this year.

They went to their first sectional and won their first two matches, extending their streak to 16 matches and their record to 19-6.
They lost the semifinal and the 3rd place match, but still finished in 4th place and reserved a spot at State.
At State, Allen and Halbrook lost in the 1st round to Megan Conlin and Andrea Goya of Aurora Rosary, 6-0, 6-1.
In the consolation bracket, Allen and Halbrook lost to Mikaela Jasinski and Kathryn Parrish of Dunlap, 6-1, 6-1.
