Cornhole tourney, bicycle safety day set

---- — Cuffs Against Cancer Relay for Life team is hosting fundraising activities this weekend and invites the public to participate.

A Cornhole Tournament will be held Friday, June 21, at the Forest Park basketball court. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the tournament starts at 6 p.m. Entry fee is $20 for a two-person team. Prizes will be awarded for First Place. Proceeds will go to Relay for Life

The Relay team will also host a free Bicycle Safety Day on Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the northwest courthouse parking lot in Shelbyville. A bicycle safety course by State Farm Insurance agent Jeremy Jokisch will be set up to help young cyclists to become better and safer cyclists. The Safety Day is open to all children Kindergarten through 4th grades. There will also be emergency vehicles for the children to explore. Parents are welcome to attend.

Cuffs Against Cancer will be selling sandwiches and holding a bake sale with proceeds going to Relay for Life.
