Moulton Jr. High presents spring concert

---- — Moulton Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choruses presented its Spring Concert Tuesday evening in the High School auditorium.

The 6th and 7th grade choirs combined to present “Bye Bye, Love”, “Read All About It”, “Just a Bit of Sunshine”, “Play Ball”, and “Mississippi Mud”. Choral director Patty Finks noted that the students had to work on their own harmony for “Read All About It”, a song featured in one of the performances on America’s Got Talent.

The 8th Grade chorus presented “California Dreamin’ “, “Say Something”, “Hallelujah”, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, and “Like an Eagle”. Braxton Vice was special pianist for “Say Something”. Daythan Summers accompanied on drum for “California Dreamin’ “.

The choirs combined in a tribute to veterans and first responders for the finale “America, the Beautiful”.

Accompanying on piano was Karen Schwerman.
