A variety of items will be let go for auction Saturday and the Chautauqua fundraiser auction at the Lions Club building in Forest Park.
According to organizer Norma Hubbartt, the featured item is a Robert Root painting.
Some of the other items include furniture, tools, china, quilts (including an authenticated 165-year-old quilt), kitchen items, table and chairs, carnival glass, milk bottles, Hummel figurines, wooden church benches, bikes, braided rugs, garden items, gas BBQ grill, and glassware.
Danny Barker will serve as auctioneer for the event, which begins at 10 a.m. Lunch will be prepared by David Johnson with many donated pies, cookies and other desserts.
Proceeds from the sale will go toward the Save Our Chautauqua fund.
Hubbartt advises people to bring their own boxes and packing materials.
