Lake Shelbyville Quilt Show July 12-14

Lake Shelbyville - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville will be hosting a Quilt Show from July 12 to July 14. Quilts will be on display at the Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, July 14 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Quilt entry: Quilts must be dropped off at the Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center from July 1 to July 10 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday only. Quilts should be in a cloth bag or a pillowcase to protect the quilt from handling damage. Both the quilt and the bag need to be clearly labeled. The quilt must consist of three layers and be quilted (by machine or hand) not tied. A completed entry form must accompany each quilt. If you wish to obtain a quilt entry form, call 217-774-3951 ext. 2, email lakeshelbyville@usace.army.mil, or stop by the Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center during normal business hours. Quilt entry forms are also available at the Main Street Quilt Company located in downtown Shelbyville.

Quilt pickup: Quilts will need to be picked up at the Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center from July 15 to July 19 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You will need to have your receipt with you for quilt pickup.
