W/SS softball assaults Altamont

Windsor/Stew-Stras junior high softball co-op (11-3) knocked off another foe in Altamont on Thursday, 12-2.

W/SS pitchers Calla Roney and Megan Schlechte combined for 10 strikeouts in the 6-inning early dismissal.W/ss started with a 2-run 1st and added a run in the 3rd, only to have Altamont make it 1-=run game in the bottom of the inning, 3-2.

W/SS then split open the game with a 5-run 4th, followed by a 3-run 5th, to go up 11-2. The W/SS solo run in the 6th gave them the 10-run edge to end the game.
