Moulton Tunes Up At Open

Shelbyville Moulton track held their open last week and scored two 2nd place team finishes, a 3rd and a 6th against stiff competition.

"It was a great, last tune-up meet for our conference meets this up coming week," said Moulton coach Chris Mosely said. "The 8 grade boys 4x100 (Keaton Plummer, Hunter Plummer, Justin Hopper, Grant Sims) broke the school record and 4x400 (Keaton Plummer, Grant Sims, Tyler Pasley, Hunter Plummer) broke the school record. 8th grade girl Sydney Miller tied the school record in the high jump at 5'1". The 7th grade girls 4x400 (Emma White, Emmalee Storm, Chloe Spain, Shayla Darnell) missed the school record by less then 2 full seconds. The 7th grade boys 4x200 team (Mason Cameron, Turner Pullen, Tylr Gottfriedt, Cade Watson) missed the school record by 3 one hundredths of a second."
