SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Ronald Dean Marlow


Ronald Dean Marlow, 59, of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on September 21, 1953 in Mount Carmel, IL, the son of Kenneth and Janet (Moore) Marlow.

Ron enjoyed his work as a truck driver, where he was employed at Warren Grain, Inc. in Windsor, IL. Ron loved being outdoors and liked to go fishing, boating and camping.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Marlow of Olney, IL; one daughter, Jessica (Marlow) Woodward of La Mesa, CA; sister, Dianna Marlow of Oaktown, IN; step sister, Brenda Marlow of Fairfield, IL; loving companion, Carol Mose of Shelbyville, IL; extended family, Shaun and Brian Carl. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Marlow and step mother, Thelma Marlow.

Per the families wishes he will be cremated. A Memorial Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Family Tradition Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Family Tradition Funeral Home with Mark Richison officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, IL.
