Clarence T. “Bud” Parish

Clarence T. “Bud” Parish, 59, of Pana died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 9:05 p.m. in Pana Community Hospital.

He was born June 4, 1946 in Decatur, IL, the son of Thomas Taylor Bain & Mary Frankie (Smith) Parish, deceased.

Bud was a veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. He has lived in the Pana area 22 years and was a supervisor in the corn sweetener east plant at ADM, Decatur, where he had worked for over 26 years. He loved his grandkids and was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing and deer hunting with his wife. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Decatur and National Rifle Assn., State and National level.

He married Beverly Dorene Moss on January 25, 1969 in Decatur, IL.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Dorene Parish, Pana, IL; children John Wayne Keller & companion Leigh Ann, Decatur, IL, Stanley Eugene Christy, Decatur, IL, Deborah Dorene Parish, Cape Coral, FL; five grandchildren: Bambie, Lacie, Nicolas, Tommy and Bradley; great-granddaughter Melangel Nicole; brother Scott Parish & wife Rosemarie, Weldon, IL; sisters Kathy Senters & husband Dan, Waynesville, IL, Maddie Quick, Decatur, IL, Chris Winkle in Kentucky.

Memorials: American Diabetes Association

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006 in McCracken-Dean Funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Mound Cemetery, Oconee, IL.
