Stephan Lucas

FINDLAY, IL —

Stephen Eric Lucas, 34, of Findlay, IL passed away at 11:05 AM Monday May 27, 2013 at his home.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday May 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Findlay, IL. The family requests casual attire. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date in Wright Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a Fund for Steve’s children. On line condolences: www.lockartgreenfuneralhome.com

Steve was born May 17, 1979 in Decatur, IL the son of Steve and Cindy Winings Lucas.

He worked construction for Colcon in Sullivan, IL. Steve served as a volunteer fireman for the Village of Findlay. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing and mushrooming. He was a great fan of NASCAR and driver Carl Edwards in the # 99 car.

Steve is survived by his father and step-mother Steve and Diane Lucas of Findlay; mother Cindy Lucas of Findlay; fiancé Hillary Denier of Findlay; children: Lacey Lucas of Sullivan, IL, Hunter Lucas, Deanna Denier, Makayla Lucas, Harley Lucas and Braden Lucas all of Findlay; grandparents Audrey Lucas of Findlay and Rich Winings of Findlay; brother Aaron Lucas of Findlay; half-brothers Brandon Lucas and Jared Pfeiffer both of Findlay; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfather: Donald Clinton Lucas; grandmother: Jean Winings; great grandmother: Dollie Warren; great grandfather Kenneth “Earl” Dewitt.
