Larry Good


Larry L. Good, 64, of Frostproof, FL, formerly of Kewanee, IL passed away on Nov. 6, 2013 in Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL.

Larry was born Feb. 3, 1949 in Geneseo, IL the son of Dale and Beatrice Hand Good.

He married Annie Lee on Oct. 18, 2013 in the First Christian Church in Findlay, IL.

Larry was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship in Frostproof, FL, the Avon Park Activities Club Inc. in Avon Park, FL and AMVETS.

Larry served his country in the United States Army in Viet Nam from 1967-1969.

He worked as a fabricator at Pines Great Dane Trailer Corp., retiring in 2007.

Surviving are his wife Annie, formerly of Findlay, IL; children: Angie (Jimmy) Knight of Marine City, MI, Cheryl (Mike) Devore in Champaign-Urbana, IL and Tim Good of Victoria, TX; six grandchildren: two step-grandchildren; one great grandchild; six step-great grandchildren; brother Marvin (Penny) Good of Kewanee, IL; sisters: Linda (Jerry) Finin of Kewanee and Debbie (Kenny) Barham of Osco, IL and mother-in-law Phyllis Lee of Findlay, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Carolyn and Beverly and father-in-law Gerald (Tiz) Lee.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday Nov. 23, 2013 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Findlay. Rev. Richard Hargrave will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery in Findlay, IL. Military rites will performed by the Clarence Bixler American Legion Post #409 of Findlay. Memorials may be made in Larry’s memory to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870-6222.
