Shelbyville

Mary V. Endsley, 95, of Shelbyville passed away at 6:05 a.m. Saturday (June 7, 2014) at the Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Graveside services at will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with Chaplin Tim Haworth officiating. Private immediate family visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville. The family requests casual attire. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center activities fund or the American Cancer Society.

She was born January 7, 1919 in Shelby County the daughter of Lemuel and Anna (Woods) Gordon. She married Clifford M. Endsley March 23, 1940 in Poplar Bluff, MO and he preceded her in death September 6, 1991.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, was a homemaker and worked various places outside her home. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Bulls fan. She loved outside activities especially fishing.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Price of Shelbyville; sister, Rita Mathis of Henton; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children, Clifford, Mary Ann and Bradley Endsley, brothers, Sylvester, Alva, Noble and Lawrence Ray Gordon and sisters, Ruth Gustin, Olive Reynolds and Marie Ross.
