Rollover Accident North of Stewardson

— Law Enforcement and emergency personnel responded to a one vehicle roll-over accident a mile north of Stewardson on Route 32. The 16 year old female driver was transported to St. Anthony’s hospital in Effingham. Her name was not available at press time. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Shelby County Rescue Squad, the Stewardson Police and ambulance were called to the scene. The Chevrolet Blazer was traveling south when it left the road on the west side of the highway and rolled several times before coming to rest in a bean field. Law enforcement did not know what caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
