Last week, the Country Roses from Jasper County paid a visit to Shelbyville for sightseeing and lunch, later stopping off at the downtown Mini Park for a group photo.

Country Rose member Mary Pullen commented, "Our group meets once a month with different members selecting what we will do. Judy Newlin was in charge this month. We truly enjoyed your town and were very impressed with the painted figures and all the nice shops. We truly had a great day and will probably return because we ran out of time."
