Dryer Fire at Middlesworth The Shelbyville Fire Department responded to the Middlesworth grain elevator Monday night after elevator manager Matt Helton reported seeing embers coming up inside the dryer. “It was a precautionary call,” said William “Perk” Wilson. “Those things can go south pretty quick.” The department remained on the scene a little over an hour.
