Main Street PBIS party

Three teachers got a cupcake in the face as part of Main Street School's PBIS party March 28. The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program helps build positive character in students. The party is a result of the students as a whole receiving 500 classroom compliments - compliments of appropriate behaviors toward other students and school staff.  The PBIS crew, made up of one students per classroom, came up with the party idea. Three staff members were chosen to receive a cake in the face in front of the student body. First grade teacher Theresa Clark, 2nd grade teacher Debbie Snyder, and principal Shannon Shallenberger received the sweet treats. Throwers were 1st grader Kylie Gordon, 2nd grader Kaz Fox, and 3rd grader Emily Oligschlaeger  The students all received cake pops.
