The Shelbyville Moulton Ram softball team beat SUllivan just 4-0 at home prior to the postseason. They had to face them again in the Meridian 2A Regional semifinal on Monday. This time the Rams routed the Redskins in 5 inning walk-off, 10-0.

Mallory Holland was on the mound for the Rams and she was the girl on fire, threowing a 1-hit shutout with one walk and 11 Ks in 5 innings. She KO'd the first batter of the game, walked the second and didn't walk anyone else. Carli Canada threw out the third batter, short to 1st and Holland rang up the next batter.

Bring on the Rams who decided to hit after some games, where hitting just wasn't on. Seven Rams hit safely in this game, three had multiple hits in 5 innings. The first four Ram batters in the line up, and one more, all had a double in the game.

Lead-off hitter Grace Tucker was 4-for-4 with a double, scoring all four times and driving in one run. Holland was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple and 3 ribbies. Graycee Gottfriedt was 2-for-3 with a double out of the 6th slot. No. 2 hitter Kinzee Musser was 1-for-3, but scored twice and drove in two.

Tucker tried to get an early run with a lead-off single in the 1st. She stole 2nd With two outs, Mia Wade reached on an error and Tucker scored, 1-0. Pinch runner Haley Hunter stole 2nd, but she was stranded.

Holland rang up all three batters in the Sully 2nd. Gottfriedt led off the Ram 2nd with a double. She went to 3rd on a passed ball and on the squeeze play Gottfriedt was out at home. The Rams came up empty in the 2nd and it was looking like another low-scoring affair.

Holland struck out the first two batters of the Sully 3rd and threw out the third at 1st.

Tucker led off the 3rd and bunt singled. Musser walked and Holland jacked a 2-run triple, busting the game open, 3-0. Wade bunted and reached on an error, scoring Emily Duckett the courtesy runner, 4-0. Liv Young sacrificed Wade to 2nd. Hunter ran for Wade and Canada was hit by a pitch with two outs, but the runners were stranded.

In the Sully 4th, Musser threw out the first batter, 2nd to 1st. Holland KO'd the second batter. Holland gave up a single  and then a walk. The next batter hit to Gottfriedt at 1st for the 3-unassisted out.

With one out in the Ram 4th, Tucker bunt singled again. With two outs, Holland smacked an RBI double. Wade traded places with Holland with her own double, 6-0.

Sullivan was starting to get in a hole. In the 5th, Holland reared back and threw 3 straight Ks.

The Rams stampeded in the bottom of the 5th to end the game early. Gottfriedt led off with a single, but was out stealing. With two outs, Millie Clark singled and Delaney Keown singled. Then came the Ram explosions.

With two on and two outs, Tucker grooved an RBI-double, 7-0. Musser stepped up and slammed a 2-run double, 9-0. Holland put a ball in play and reached on an error at 1st. Musser came around to score for the 10-run, walk-off win, 10-0.
