Shelbyville didn't lose a match when Eisenhower came to Shelbyville for a rematch on Thursday. The Rams beat Ike, 9-0, in Decatur and they repeated that feat in Shelbyville, 9-0.

It was another banner day for the Rams. Hannah Hicks played #1 singles and #1 doubles with Nicole Owens and won both. Hicks beat Genae Coates, 8-2 and the doubles team shutout Ashley Russell and Jasmine South, 8-0.

Owens scored a singles and doubles win. Before her double win with Hicks,  Owens won #3 singles, blanking Ashley Russell, 8-0.  

Maddie Smothers, the Ram #2, won singles and #2 doubles with Lauren Williams. Smothers beat South, 8-2, and the team beat Ashley Buenostro and Christine Koontz, 8-2.

Sophomores, Layla Gill and Cyra Miller got singles wins in #4 and #5. Gill beat Koontz, 8-1 and Miller beat Katie Forbes, 8-2. Freshman Alana Geer got a singles win, beating Ike's #6, Buenostro, 8-1.

Freshman Camryn Durbin played #3 doubles and notched a win with sophomore teammate Trinity Turner, 8-5.

The Rams will host Springfield Southeast on Monday at 4:30 p.m..
