CHBC Falls To St. Anthony

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — CHBC and St. Anthony limited each other offensively in the 1st half on Thursday, then each took their turns asserting themselves. St. Anthony prevailed in the low-scoring NTC contest, 36-26.   

In the 1st period, St. Anthony took an 8-4 lead, but CHBC fought back and made it a one-possession game at the half, trailing just 16-13.

CHBC forgot to come out of the locker room in the 3rd and was shutout 11-0. After taking the 3rd quarter off, offensively, CHBC was down by 14, 27-13.

But, CHBC scored half of their points in the final frame on a 13-9 run. That still left CHBC down by 10 at the buzzer.

CHBC had balanced scoring with all four of their scorers, tallying seven or six points. Chandler ward and jensyn Morrison had seven each, Ward with a trey. Kirby Herrmann and Alicia Adams had six points, each, Adams with a trey.
