Okaw Can't Buck ALAH

Okaw Valley couldn’t match ALAH early on Monday and couldn’t manufacture a comeback, losing 53-37.

Okaw fell prey to a 15-3 run in the 2nd and trailed by 16 at the break, 28-12. The Timberwolves got it going in the 3rd, but couldn’t shake ALAH and still trailed by 14 heading into the 4th. The 4th was competitive, but Okaw couldn’t cut into the deficit.

Abigail Weybright led Okaw with 12 points and two treys, followed by Amy Orris with 10 points and also two treys. However, Okaw was without Paige Harlin and that hurt their scoring. Mollee Decesaro and Amanda McClain both scored five, but that was it as Okaw took a rare loss.
