Ben Houska (160) won his first match over Jonas Arnberg of St. Anthony by a 1st period pin (1:16). He lost by a pin (1:16), then lost out in wrestlebacks by fall (1:54).

Heavyweight Andrew Mudgette was held out of the tourney nursing an injury and saving him for the Super Duals after Christmas. Matt Tinsman (113), also out due to injury, is also expected back for the Super Duals.
