Elliott Smithson, senior Shelbyville wrestler, won the Skull & Crossbones title (220) with a pin hat trick.
Smithson, 8th-ranked in the state, scored three consecutive wins by pin.
He won a 2nd period pin (4:43), followed by another 2nd period pin (4:36).
He won the title with a pin in the last 10 seconds of the 1st period (1:49).
Zack Stirrett, sophomore Shelbyville wrestler, won the 106-pound title with two consecutive pins, then a shutout decision. Stirrett, ranked 8th in the state, first pin was in the 3rd period and his second with 16 seconds left in the 2nd period.
He won the title, 3-0.
Jared Finley, junior Shelbyville wrestler, won the 138-pound title with back-to-back pins and a major decision.
Finley, ranked 4th in the state got first pin in the 1st period (1:26) and his second pin in the 2nd period (2:50).
He won the title racking up a 13-5 win.
Garrett Brachbill, a sophomore Shelbyville wrestler ranked 8th in the state, won the 126-pound title with a pin, a major decision and by injury.
He stuck his foe in the 2nd period (3:17), followed by an 11-point major decision, 16-5. Brachbill won the title as his championship foe got hurt and had to withdraw.
