A&M Ladies Knock Nokomis

Central A&M ran their record to 11-3 prior to Christmas by knocking off Nokomis, 61-52.

After falling behind early, 14-10, the Raiders struck back and led at the break by five, 31-26. A&M kept the advantage in the 2nd half, extending their lead to eight points heading into the 4th, 45-36. They refused to let Nkoomis trim the margin at the closing bell and won by nine.

Ryan Dooley scored a career-high 28 points, quicking her way to nine buckets in close and sinking two shots from downtown. She also made 4-of-9 at the line. Taylor Jordan also connected twice from long distance, shot 4-of-6 at the line, and finished with 18 points. Olivia Jordan had a season-high six points.

The Raiders got the win by nine, despite Nokomis shooting ten more free throws (30 to 20) and making 11 more free throws (21 to 10). A&M did have a six point advantage from the arc (15-9) and a 14 point advantage from 2-point land (36-22).
